The 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics will open on Friday, February 4 and close on Sunday, February 20. There are 7 major events, 15 sub items and 109 minor events in this winter Olympic Games.

 There are two mascots for the Winter Olympic Games, one is ICE DUN DUN and the other is named SNOW RONG RONG   

ICE DUNDUN is a panda image and ice crystal shell, which reflects the characteristics of winter ice and snow movement. Pandas are recognized as China’s national treasures in the world, with friendly, lovely and charming images. The colorful halo on the panda’s head is inspired by the ice ribbon, the national speed skating Hall of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games. Flowing color lines symbolize the track of ice and snow sports and 5g high technology; The shape of the head shell is taken from the ice and snow sports helmet. The panda looks like an astronaut. It is an expert in ice and snow sports from the future, implying the combination of modern science and technology and ice and snow sports. “Ice” symbolizes purity and strength, which is the characteristic of the Winter Olympic Games. “Dundun” means honest, honest and lovely. It fits the overall image of the panda and symbolizes the strong body, indomitable will and inspiring Olympic spirit of the Winter Olympic athletes

 SNOW RONGRONG  is designed as a lantern. Lanterns, with distinctive Chinese cultural characteristics and a long history of more than 2000 years, are recognized as “Chinese Symbols” in the world. It is a perfect combination of the festive atmosphere and the beautiful implication of “auspicious snow heralds a bumper year”, and expresses the concept of jointly participating, working together and enjoying the Olympic Games.
